Royal Red - elevation made of Meranti wood from DLH

The wooden facade provides a durable and aesthetic finish of the building, and at the same time gives it a chic and smartly blends into the natural surroundings. Facade boards made of Meranti wood in warm tones of red are particularly attractive for those looking for a trendy way to the subtle distinction of the object from others.

Meranti wood as a facade finishing is being increasingly used both in individual construction and public spaces. It is popular because of its excellent technical features, but above all original appearance, which gives the architecture noble expression. In addition, the universal nature of this material, makes it easy to create attractive combinations with other building materials such as concrete, brick, steel, and glass. As a result, wood becomes more widely used, both in terms of features and style of the building and its location - typically in urban areas as well as areas surrounded by nature.

Modernity with a beautiful soul

Exotic Meranti wood distinguishes from other species of wood with energetic warm color passing from brown to red. Refreshing color looks especially impressive on modern construction based on the daring combinations and contrasts. In comparison with the severity of the concrete and cold steel Meranti wood makes minimalist composition becomes lighter and gets a friendly nature. This wood has a very fine graining, which from a distance, gives the impression of a unified structure. Nonetheless the surface made of Meranti boards creates an interesting pattern through a wide tonal range. Thanks to this the elevation is not monochromatic and there is no way one can be indifferent about it. Finishing the facade with a noble Meranti wood raise the prestige of the buildings and emphasizes its original style. This solution will work in single-family houses in the suburbs, urban chic residential areas, modern hotels, and office buildings. This versatile and fashionable solution that will give new, intriguing face even to the most inconspicuous building.

Natural building protection

Exotic wood species have a very good technical parameters that make them an excellent material for outdoors use. Meranti wood from Asia has a high resistance to weather and mechanical damage. Used as a cover for the facade effectively protects the building against moisture and reduces heat loss, ensuring that rooms have a comfortable microclimate. A significant advantage of the wooden cladding of the facade is acoustic insulation, which significantly reduces the noise reaching the interior. To ensure that elevation covered with Meranti wood retains its attractive appearance for many years, a proper care must be undertaken. It is not complicated however, because it just needs to be impregnated with proper substances such as oil, glaze or wood preservatives once every few years.
