CHARACTERISTICS of OSB-3 (Oriented Strand Board)

OSB-3 is a board for the exterior and interior use under conditions of moderate humidity.

Standard size panels: 2500x1250mm

The thickness of the OSB-3: 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 22, 25 mm

Because of the resistance to moisture in the air, low water absorption and swelling of OSB-3 is commonly used for the construction of buildings in the timber frame technology. OSB-3 has the appropriate technical parameters to ensure the rigidity and strength of the structure of the building. Most often they are used in:

• underroofs instead of boarding
• external and internal walls
• floors, ceilings and partition walls (tongue-and-groove boards)
• repair and adaptation of rooms
• construction of stairs and platforms
• shuttering of concrete platforms or exterior stairs
• fencing building sites for the duration of the investment
• closures window and door openings in the raw state buildings during the break in construction works
• racks, stands and exhibition stands
• the construction of summerhouses and chalets
• walls in campsites, huts and containers
